BeautifulPeople.com HIT By "SHREK" VIRUS
Website social networking site BeautifulPeople.com has been hit by a
"shrek" virus which allowed 30,000 "ugly" applicants to sign up.
Members must pass a screening stage, but this stopped working last month, allowing anyone to join. Tens of thousands were later thrown out.
Managing director Greg Hodge said: "it must be a bitter pill to swallow, but better to have had a slice of heaven than never to have tasted it.
